As an independent arts and design education provider SilverHub Studios receive no state funding. All our courses take place in studios at:

SilverHub Jewellery School and Studios occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right:
To cancel our 8 week courses, weekend workshops, summer schools with a maximum of one week’s and a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the start date.
To cancel a class with a maximum of one week’s and a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior. A 'day' is one 24-hour period ending prior to the start time of the event and does not include the day of the scheduled course, class or workshop. The terms above also apply to gift voucher bookings.
To change the staffing of the course, workshop or class you are attending
To work within an environment which is safe. Any student who threatens, is verbally abusive, or has behaviour which makes fellow students or staff feel unsafe will be withdrawn immediately with no refund given.
To ensure that students undertaking a task or attending the class do so safely. If we feel they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol we will ask them to leave the class. If this happens the student will be withdrawn from the course immediately with no refund given.
If you have any doubts regarding your level of ability, physical ability, dexterity or concerns over your sight please do contact us first before you make your booking.
Please check your booking as once a booking is made NO refunds will be given for any courses, classes, workshops or summer school.
SilverHub Jewellery School and Studios reserve the right to cancel courses if the circumstances dictate. We will endeavour to notify you via email, text or phone call.
All students must make sure that their contact information is correct at the time of booking as we are not be responsible if you do not get the information as a result of incorrect contact details given at the time of booking.
Any changes or swaps to classes will be subject to a £50 administration charge.
If we must cancel a class due to a tutor being unavailable, we will provide an alternative tutor, or you will be offered an alternative class of the same value, space permitting.
If we must cancel classes as the result of circumstances beyond our control and/or as the result of acts of god, extreme weather conditions, public health situations, acts of terrorism, acts of vandalism, fire, water damage, structural damage to the building, theft or other external circumstances that are beyond our control, no refunds or no replacement classes will be given.
If we have to cancel classes in accordance, response or relating to Covid-19 restrictions/guidance (such as the impact of national or local lockdowns) up to a 14 day period, no refunds or replacement classes will be given.
If we need to cancel your class for a 14 to 28 day period or more due to any reason relating to Covid-19 restrictions, we will reschedule a 14-day portion of the remaining sessions.
If we have to cancel classes due to a Covid -19 outbreak amongst students, classes will be stopped and we will reschedule classes as appropriate to our course timetable and availability. No refunds are given for non-attendance of a rescheduled class.
If we need to cancel your class prior to your class commencing due to any reason relating to Covid-19 restrictions, we will postpone the class and new dates will be given. No refunds can be given for the non-attendance of a rescheduled class.
If you book into a Summer School, Workshop, Course and as a result, you are unable to attend due to Covid-19 illness no refunds are given or replacements are given for the period you are unable to attend.
If you are unable to attend a class, course, workshops or summer schools as you have been advised that you have Covid-19 you must follow all government guidance and inform the SilverHub immediately.
For cancellation by course participants:
If you cancel more than four weeks before the start of the course, your fees will be refunded minus a £50 administration charge.
If you must cancel your place less than four weeks before the start of the class, your fees will not be refundable.
Non-attendance of the class due to illness or personal circumstances does not provide the right to a refund or credit. However, in exceptional circumstances we may be able to offer a partial refund less an administration fee. In this instance, we request that you outline the circumstances in writing to the Director.
Please check before you book any of our courses that they are at the right level for you. SilverHub Jewellery School and Studios Ltd is not responsibility for any issues arising from you booking on a course which is either too advanced or not advanced enough for the course attendee and no refunds will be given.
No refunds can be given for failed attendance due to, holidays, personal sickness or external circumstances.
If you would like catch up-time, then we be happy to arrange a tutorial on one-to-one tuition basis at additional £50 per hour.
A deposit of £100 is required with your booking. The balance of fees is due three weeks prior to the start of the course. You can pay by BACS transfer.
All deposits are non-refundable.
The course fees cover tuition, use of studio and equipment.
At the beginning of the course students are given a pack which contains sawblades, and a limited amount of copper metal for their projects.
Additional sawblades and copper metal will be available for students to purchase
If students wish to make their projects in silver it is the responsibility students to provide their own silver metal. Guidance should be sought from the tutor before any purchases are made.
Some projects may require students to purchase additional materials. The tutor will provide this information before the project commences.
All fees must be paid a minimum of four weeks before the course commences
Materials and tools are supplied in our courses with the exception to silver unless it states. For more specialised courses additional materials may need to be supplied by students. If this is the case a material list will be provided.
Some courses require previous experience. Please ensure that the course you have booked is suited to your level of experience.

STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
SilverHub Jewellery School and Studios welcomes students with disabilities. However, we regret that at present the building is not wheelchair accessible. Please phone the School for further information about which classes are accessible to wheelchair users.

We will not give your personal data to any third party. You have the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We may wish to use photographs, artwork and audio-visual media containing your image or likeness in our marketing and promotional materials and you hereby consent that we may do so in all and any media for such purposes.
If you would prefer that we do not, you should notify us in writing. We will also confirm this with you where we have a reasonable opportunity to do so.
Copyright in any photographs or audio-visual media containing your image or likeness shall belong to SilverHub Studios Ltd and shall not entitle you to receive any royalties or other payments.
Voucher Duration: Vouchers are valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase and cannot be redeemed after expiry date.
Use of Multiple Vouchers: Only one gift voucher can be used per course booking.
Email Vouchers: Printable email vouchers shall be provided free of charge to the email address provided at point of purchase.
Voucher Redemption: Courses must be pre-booked. Vouchers can be redeemed by phone, in person or online only. Redemption contact details are provided on the voucher.
Vouchers can be used for part or full payment of a course only. If the course cost exceeds the amount of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid in full by credit or debit card at the point of booking.
Refunds: Vouchers are non-refundable. No change or credit is given if the voucher value exceeds the total cost of the course – for example where a £100 voucher is used to purchase a £95 course.
Course availability: SilverHub Studios Ltd does not guarantee that spaces will be available on courses. Spaces are only secured once a course has been booked, so it is recommended that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Transfer: Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost or Stolen Vouchers: Lost, stolen, or destroyed gift vouchers will not be replaced, exchanged, or refunded.
Cancellation: In the unlikely event that a course needs to be cancelled by SilverHub Studios Ltd, a new gift voucher shall be issued and shall be valid for a further 6 months. If a course is cancelled by a voucher holder no refund or replacement course shall be given.
Course Vouchers are valid for the full cost of course as advertised at up to the value of £280, and cannot be redeemed against any online course that costs more than this.
Short Course (1 day) Vouchers are valid for the full cost of all 1 day short courses advertised at and there are no exceptions.
Short Course (2-3 Day - Non-Residential) Vouchers are valid for any 2-3 day course as advertised at with the exception of any course priced at £300 or more (tuition fee only)
